Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Greg Bridgeman in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kajetan Dec prevented the ball from getting in the gole. INTER Sosnowiec's Leszek Wielopolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ömer Halisdemir in the 4th minute of play. Kajetan Dec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Moizuk in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th match minute, INTER Sosnowiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charlie Vercalsteren to maneuver through the defense. Leszek Wielopolski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ömer Halisdemir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kajetan Dec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Villegas in the 11th minute of play. After 14 played minutes Zawisza Bydgoszcz got a freekick which was hit by Ömer Halisdemir. 19 minutes into the match, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Sebastian Klawke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leszek Wielopolski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Klement Zachemski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Kajetan Dec made a huge save. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Kajetan Dec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Moizuk in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute Marian Moizuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajetan Dec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, INTER Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Ömer Halisdemir came free, but Leszek Wielopolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Moizuk in the 34th minute of play forced Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper Kajetan Dec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leszek Wielopolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ömer Halisdemir in the 40th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ömer Halisdemir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute of the match INTER Sosnowiec got a corner. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leopoldo Villegas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Leopoldo Villegas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Kajetan Dec did a great save. INTER Sosnowiec made a substitution. Wlodzimierz Swoboda replaced Herbert Koperski. A sloppy throw-in by Michael Klein in the 65th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Alphan Altunç. After a rather tough play, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Kazimierz Gaszynski got a free kick in the 68th minute. Karl-Åke Lindström kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ömer Halisdemir in the 89th minute of play forced INTER Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Leszek Wielopolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, INTER Sosnowiec's Leszek Wielopolski got control of the ball when Ömer Halisdemir tried to sneak it across the goal line.
