The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Las Palmas's 秦西星 got a free kick in the 3rd minute. René Stam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ke Yan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Lamela in the 19th minute of play forced Las Palmas's goalkeeper René Stam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute of the match LosAndes666 got a corner. Las Palmas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Enzo-Nicolás Pérez ran over to the corner to take the kick. LosAndes666's Enzo-Nicolás Pérez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but René Stam in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. René Stam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Bizen in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mao Ao Gang got free with René Stam in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 29 minutes into the match, Las Palmas's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Bizen came free, but René Stam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Darío Graabirk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cecilio Gonza was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. 35 minutes into the match, Las Palmas's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Bizen came free, but René Stam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the game, LosAndes666's Mao Ao Gang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. René Stam made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. A collision led to Las Palmas getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Rogelio Crescencio hit a great ball. In the 61st minute Aldo Bizen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but René Stam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. LosAndes666 made a substitution. Donato Iyan replaced Ke Yan. LosAndes666's Cristóvão Santana was substituted for Mao Ao Gang. Fidel Frederik kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match.
