Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 7th play minute Uriel Ferrer came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised René Stam. 2-0. After 10th play minutes Uriel Ferrer shot 3-0, a short shot which went by René Stam and just under the crossbar into goal. If Lionel-Andrés Messi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godfredo Gau scored 4-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of René Stam, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Uriel Ferrer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. René Stam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Las Palmas defense, Uriel Ferrer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of René Stam. The Las Palmas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that René Stam should have stopped the shot. Lionel-Andrés Messi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 23 played minutes Defensores de Lombroso got a freekick which was hit by Roman Riquelme. René Stam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lionel-Andrés Messi in the 24th minute of the match. René Stam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lionel-Andrés Messi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lionel-Andrés Messi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. René Stam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Silverio Quintun fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Las Palmas's protests and gave Silverio Quintun a yellow card for diving instead. René Stam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Ferrer, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The Defensores de Lombroso fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Defensores de Lombroso's Godfredo Gau looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 42nd minute Uriel Ferrer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but René Stam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Las Palmas's René Stam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Las Palmas from getting a goal against them. René Stam made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Lionel-Andrés Messi sent off a good shot on target. In the 52nd minute, Lionel-Andrés Messi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Defensores de Lombroso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Las Palmas's goalkeeper René Stam, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Las Palmas's 秦西星 got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the game, Defensores de Lombroso's Lionel-Andrés Messi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. René Stam made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. After a rather tough play, Las Palmas's Maximiliano Beturian got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Lionel-Andrés Messi struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. René Stam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores de Lombroso. Defensores de Lombroso:s Denis Paulin showed great skill when he stopped Rogelio Crescencio:s penalty. René Stam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Sauveur, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The supporters of Defensores de Lombroso booed when Las Palmas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Beturian didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Pirro in the 96th minute of play forced Las Palmas's goalkeeper René Stam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
