Sven-Edvin Jansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramon Peralta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. If Sven-Edvin Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.
REAL COHOLICS's Yu Zhi Yang was substituted for Edward Wojton. Luiz Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th match minute, GuateFortín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zico Zellier to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ramon Peralta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the REAL COHOLICS defense, Sven-Edvin Jansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramon Peralta. The REAL COHOLICS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramon Peralta should have stopped the shot. GuateFortín made a substitution. Mario Gomez replaced Roberto Trotta. 69 minutes into the match, REAL COHOLICS's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Edvin Jansson came free, but Ramon Peralta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 83 minutes of play, GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramon Peralta was left in no man's land by his defense there! 85 minutes into the match, Brian Laudrup had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nery Pumpido. GuateFortín's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Brian Laudrup was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. After a defensive mix-up in REAL COHOLICS's zone, Angel Alvarenga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Peralta came out of the goal and Angel Alvarenga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nery Pumpido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yu Zhi Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chants of GuateFortín echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as REAL COHOLICS had held the ball for most of the match.
