The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. ORION F.C.'s Dadhyan Rudrappa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Scalise in the 4th minute of play. After 4 played minutes ORION F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Villalaz. 7 minutes into the match, ORION F.C.'s Pedro Villalaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Bonano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 8th match minute, Club Atlético Lea Papá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Daniele to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudio Scalise in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dadhyan Rudrappa saved ORION F.C. from getting behind. In the 15th minute of the game Luis Quirós made a throw-in which Pedro Villalaz played forward. Dadhyan Rudrappa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Scalise in the 18th minute of the match. Alexander Murillo struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Roberto Bonano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ORION F.C.. Ahmet Fikret Şenel made in the 23rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Pedro Villalaz immediately put the ball in play. Dadhyan Rudrappa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Scalise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in ORION F.C.'s zone, Claudio Scalise stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dadhyan Rudrappa came out of the goal and Claudio Scalise tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alexander Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind ORION F.C.'s goalkeeper Dadhyan Rudrappa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dadhyan Rudrappa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Marinelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dadhyan Rudrappa came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Lea Papá's Claudio Scalise. But to his dismay, Claudio Scalise quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 44 minutes into the game, Raúl Gordillo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Lea Papá's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ORION F.C. the free kick. After 44 played minutes Club Atlético Lea Papá got a freekick which was hit by Raúl Gordillo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Villalaz in the 45th minute of play forced Club Atlético Lea Papá's goalkeeper Roberto Bonano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Roberto Bonano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Club Atlético Lea Papá were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Club Atlético Lea Papá made a substitution. Marcelo Carracedo replaced Alan Marinelli. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Villalaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elias Dely hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. ORION F.C. made a substitution. Andrés Mendieta replaced Alexander Murillo. Alexander Murillo kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Pedro Villalaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roberto Bonano. Club Atlético Lea Papá's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Villalaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Scalise in the 68th minute of play forced ORION F.C.'s goalkeeper Dadhyan Rudrappa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Atlético Lea Papá's Claudio Scalise got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Dadhyan Rudrappa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dadhyan Rudrappa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Scalise in the 92nd minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Claudio Scalise notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of ORION F.C.'s Dadhyan Rudrappa. Dadhyan Rudrappa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 97th minute Claudio Scalise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dadhyan Rudrappa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Club Atlético Lea Papá could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ORION F.C. throughout the match.
