Club Deportivo Águila's Gustavo Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Scalise in the 9th minute of play. Claudio Scalise's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo Guimarães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Club Deportivo Águila were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Club Atlético Lea Papá's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alberto Alvarenga took the corner. Roberto Bonano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Florinio in the 28th minute of the match. In the 30th match minute, Club Atlético Lea Papá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nahuel Molina to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Bonano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Florinio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Lea Papá's goalkeeper Roberto Bonano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gustavo Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Scalise in the 43rd minute of play. Roberto Bonano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Florinio in the 45th minute of the match. The Club Atlético Lea Papá players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Deportivo Águila were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dário Diniz to strike the kick off in the second half. Roberto Bonano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Diniz in the 67th minute of play. Dário Diniz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roberto Bonano having to make a save. In the 71st minute Dário Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Bonano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Lea Papá's zone, Dário Diniz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Bonano came out of the goal and Dário Diniz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club Atlético Lea Papá's Eduardo Coudet was substituted for Cristian Daniele. Roberto Bonano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dário Diniz's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute Club Deportivo Águila were awarded a corner. Alberto Alvarenga went to the cornerflag to take it. 90 minutes into the match, Dário Diniz notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Club Atlético Lea Papá's Roberto Bonano. Roberto Bonano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roberto Bonano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário Diniz in the 96th minute of play. The Club Deportivo Águila players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
