Patxi Artime made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 2nd minute of play. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ's Patxi Artime played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Eikelkamp in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Patxi Artime reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 8 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 9 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ's Patxi Artime tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 13 minutes, Wim Wilmes made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ's Patxi Artime tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 16th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patxi Artime saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patxi Artime showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. When Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patxi Artime should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patxi Artime prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Wim Wilmes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patxi Artime breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kees Mooiweer made in the 44th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gijsbert ter Kruimer however managed to control. Patxi Artime came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7.

Patxi Artime made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. In the 53rd minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patxi Artime saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Netherlands's Lars Meesters dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ's Pacifico Balli quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gust Ennemans, made in the 66th minute of the game. With a little luck, ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ's Patxi Artime got control of the ball when Gust Ennemans tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 73 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patxi Artime was left in no man's land by his defense there! ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Gijsbert ter Kruimer scored to the left of an out of position Patxi Artime, making the score, 0-14. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Patxi Artime came out and tried to block the shot, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer slotted it home off the left post making it 0-15 in the 83rd minute. After some careless play in the ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ defense, Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patxi Artime. The ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patxi Artime should have stopped the shot. After 94 played minutes ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ got a freekick which was hit by Pacifico Balli. After a defensive mix-up in ℄ΣᏩモ₦ፚ ℱ.Ȼ's zone, David Eikelkamp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patxi Artime came out of the goal and David Eikelkamp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
