After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Ye Xiang managed to get in a good position for a shot. !Pabellon Ourense C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Ye Xiang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edinho Lira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 4th minute, Ginés Figueres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute, Emerson Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ye Xiang in the 8th minute of play forced INTER FC's goalkeeper Edinho Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Eduardo Cardozo might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frederico Gaspar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. INTER FC's Edinho Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ye Xiang in the 87th minute of play. Frederico Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The !Pabellon Ourense C.F. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
