Afonsinho Fernandes made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Flavio Vittori stood somewhat misplaced when Ignacio Alvarez came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 18 minute. Antonio Sciotto hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valko Nanyov in the 23rd minute of play. After 95 played minutes GARGOYLES got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Sciotto. The GARGOYLES supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Italy's performance. The match ended with a win for Italy.
