Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Peletier started the match with the kick off. Justino Confesor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Maxime Durand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 8 minutes, Maxime Durand successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 9th minute of the match San Martin de Tucuman got a corner. France's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ubaldo Veto ran over to the corner to take the kick. Eriberto Osasun made a great header on San Martin de Tucuman's corner, it was just that France's Maxime Durand managed to reach the ball for a save. France's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Eriberto Osasun scored to the left of an out of position Maxime Durand, making the score, 1-0. Justino Confesor let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 13th minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. 17 minutes into the match, San Martin de Tucuman's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Peletier came free, but Cecilio Jax reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justino Confesor in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maxime Durand, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cecilio Jax took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Peletier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner ended in David Barbier almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but San Martin de Tucuman's Cecilio Jax did a great save. Maxime Durand made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Justino Confesor sent off a good shot on target. Justino Confesor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, San Martin de Tucuman's goal looked a bit too open when Camille Baume came free, but Cecilio Jax reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maxime Durand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Justino Confesor went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. David Barbier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cecilio Jax having to make a save. When Justino Confesor came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the San Martin de Tucuman fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justino Confesor couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Justino Confesor was the one to do the kick off. Justino Confesor struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Maxime Durand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Martin de Tucuman. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Justino Confesor's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justino Confesor in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Confesor in the 60th minute of play. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Vitin, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The supporters of France booed when San Martin de Tucuman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Inge Joakimsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eriberto Osasun made in the 73rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Paulino Lamberto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Confesor in the 74th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. San Martin de Tucuman's Bartolo Harkaitz got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luciano Selmo took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 84th minute, Paulino Lamberto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Martin de Tucuman fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Frank Peletier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Cecilio Jax made a huge save. Frank Peletier was extremely unlucky when he, in the 92nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Elorri in the 94th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the San Martin de Tucuman players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
