Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Lucila, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Bakos Endre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Lucila in the 15th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinu Oardă having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Liviu Frumușanu got free with Fodor Daniel in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 33 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dinu Oardă narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Major Barna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dinu Oardă was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Dinu Oardă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takacs Tibor in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Lucila in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. The supporters of Hungary booed when MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florin Ciorobîtcă didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 48 minutes of play, Hungary's Antal Valentin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dinu Oardă was left in no man's land by his defense there! The MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hungary were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. Dinu Oardă made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Oardă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Dinu Oardă made a huge save. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinu Oardă having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Bakos Endre threw the ball into play from the sideline. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Edwin 雷岩 quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Major Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dinu Oardă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Major Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. Victor Lucila blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fodor Daniel having to make a save. Hegedus Henrik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Dinu Oardă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liviu Frumușanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fodor Daniel having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Victor Lucila managed to get in a good position for a shot. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Lucila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had been going on for 98 minutes, Hungary's Antal Valentin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dinu Oardă. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
