To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 18 minutes of play, Hungary's Major Barna made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miguel Pedroso was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Fodor Daniel threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jerónimo Leiria, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Miguel Pedroso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Vivaldo Belém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vivaldo Belém stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hungary's Antal Valentin managed to work through VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Antal Valentin dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Miguel Pedroso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vivaldo Belém's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. A collision led to VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Zé Guine hit a great ball. Takacs Tibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Pedroso having to interfere. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Belém in the 69th minute of the match. After having played for 94 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vivaldo Belém kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Many of Hungary's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Hungary may have spent more time on the ball, but VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
