Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gwidon Patora started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edward Vanderstraeten in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roland Czerniejewski saved Veth Crystals from getting behind. Veth Crystals's Roland Czerniejewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Dervaux in the 8th minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roland Czerniejewski. Roland Czerniejewski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roland Czerniejewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Veth Crystals's Gwidon Patora ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Casper Claes. Casper Claes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 19 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Gwidon Patora came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roland Czerniejewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roland Czerniejewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. Angel-Enrique De La Rosa-Choca kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 34th minute Gwidon Patora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Veth Crystals were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Belgium's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bartosz Lizewski took the corner. After taking down the ball on Veth Crystals's corner Barnaba Kisiel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Casper Claes quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 38th minute of play forced Veth Crystals's goalkeeper Roland Czerniejewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lenny Clocheret hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Edward Vanderstraeten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edward Vanderstraeten to strike the kick off in the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwidon Patora in the 61st minute of play. A throw-in in the 65th minute of the game was made by Edward Oliszewski with Teofil Walczyk as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After a defensive mix-up in Veth Crystals's zone, Sander Dermaut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Czerniejewski came out of the goal and Sander Dermaut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Belgium were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Veth Crystals's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edward Vanderstraeten took the corner. Edward Oliszewski hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Siebe Michiels could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Roland Czerniejewski however easily saved by the left post. When Lenny Clocheret fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belgium's protests and gave Lenny Clocheret a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute of the match Bartosz Lizewski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Casper Claes skillfully saved the ball. If Bartosz Lizewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwidon Patora in the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Gwidon Patora left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Veth Crystals fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Veth Crystals's He Lin Di was substituted for Bartosz Lizewski. In the 85th match minute, Veth Crystals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel-Enrique De La Rosa-Choca to maneuver through the defense. A nice corner shot did that Edward Vanderstraeten got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roland Czerniejewski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Patora in the 88th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from He Lin Di, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The Belgium supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Belgium would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
