Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Christian Hojem started the match with the kick off. FC Pladask's Erlend Øvereng got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Hojem in the 6th minute of play. A hard shot by Cayetano Vidal from long distance, 11 minutes into the match, got Tommy Kahn's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Torjus Solvoll breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute, Chris Mergenthaler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kjetil-André Grønseth, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Hojem in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erlend Øvereng. In the 24th minute FC Pladask were awarded a corner. Kjetil-André Grønseth went to the cornerflag to take it. Erlend Øvereng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Christian Hojem came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the FC Pladask fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Hojem couldn't finish the play. Torjus Solvoll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the last second Tommy Kahn throw himself and got hold of the ball when Christian Hojem in the 35thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jim-André Nybakken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Jim-André Nybakken notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 56 minutes of play, FC Pladask's Christian Hojem made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Torjus Solvoll tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erlend Øvereng in the 62nd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64thth minute of the game Christian Hojem who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Pladask's Torjus Solvoll proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save FC Pladask from getting a goal against them. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erlend Øvereng, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 73 minutes, Kjetil-André Grønseth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Pladask and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kjetil-André Grønseth hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Pladask's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torjus Solvoll came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kjetil-André Grønseth made in the 80th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alexander Markussen immediately put the ball in play. FC Pladask's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Frank Sachs scored to the left of an out of position Torjus Solvoll, making the score, 2-1. With a little luck, FC Pladask's Torjus Solvoll got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torjus Solvoll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Rothberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute of the match Germany got a corner. FC Pladask's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Sachs ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Linus Schwerner managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. FC Pladask were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
