In the 13th minute, Laurens Vandamme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Okaner Dilşad in the 14th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Casper Claes's left hand side. Belgium's Casper Claes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Belgium from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Utretskiy in the 22nd minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils-Erik Källberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 24th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Siro Benvido got free with Casper Claes in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gnaget United FC's Kennet Mårtensson managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Floris Claeys in the 29 minute of the game. 30 minutes into the game, Gnaget United FC's Siro Benvido nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casper Claes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 43 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nils-Erik Källberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 46th minute of play forced Gnaget United FC's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Källberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The supporters of Belgium booed when Gnaget United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kennet Mårtensson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Benvido in the 59th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Siro Benvido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gnaget United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. In the 62nd minute, Okaner Dilşad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yves Dervaux could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Nils-Erik Källberg made a huge save. In the 67th minute of the match Gnaget United FC got a corner. Belgium's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Okaner Dilşad ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Wempy Syukur got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Casper Claes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Benvido in the 69th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Benvido in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute Bogdan Utretskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Nils-Erik Källberg in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute, Siro Benvido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Siro Benvido's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Claes was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 87th minute, Siro Benvido made a precise shot to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2.
