The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 11 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Takacs Tibor came free, but Aytek Samin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aytek Samin having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Aytek Samin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Gáspár Nyilasi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. After 23 minutes El Retorno de Palermo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. After 23 played minutes El Retorno de Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Fernanco. Antal Valentin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aytek Samin. El Retorno de Palermo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Aytek Samin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Hungary's Hegedus Henrik got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zygmunt Malik got free with Fodor Daniel in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zygmunt Malik in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Zygmunt Malik made the kick off in the second half. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zygmunt Malik in the 50th minute of the match. In the 51st minute, Zygmunt Malik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by El Retorno de Palermo's Martin Videl. But to his dismay, Martin Videl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 63rd match minute, El Retorno de Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zygmunt Malik to maneuver through the defense. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Fernanco in the 65th minute of play. Major Barna was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Aytek Samin in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Siro Serapio hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Octavio Chuan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fodor Daniel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Chuan in the 81st minute of play. Leonides Nayely charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonides Nayely the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 82 played minutes El Retorno de Palermo got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Nayely. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Aytek Samin in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 91 minutes into the match, El Retorno de Palermo's goalkeeper Aytek Samin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin.
