Siro Lore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Siro Lore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The supporters of Halcones booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bjarne Kirkegaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 played minutes Halcones got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Abeijon. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siro Lore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute of the match Denmark got a corner. Halcones's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chris Nygaard ran over to the corner to take the kick. Claudio Abeijon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Keld Paulsen came out and tried to block the shot, but Claudio Abeijon slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 41st minute. Miromir Bochinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. The supporters of Halcones booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Steen didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Chris Nygaards short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Siro Lore to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Miromir Bochinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Abeijon in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Honorato Esiquio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alberto Fernanco hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Siro Lore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikkel Wulff in the 74th minute of play. Dalmacio Ortzi made in the 76th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Claudio Abeijon immediately put the ball in play. After having played for 82 minutes, Miromir Bochinski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Halcones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miromir Bochinski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Poncio made in the 85th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Sebastian Ortzi immediately put the ball in play. 86 minutes into the game, Claudio Abeijon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Keld Paulsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Chris Nygaard's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Siro Lore skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Chris Nygaard did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-2 to the left of a surprised Siro Lore 95 minutes into the match.
