The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Stelian Butuc in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 83 minutes into the game, Germany's Frank Sachs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stelian Butuc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. 87 minutes into the game, Willy Stieler threw the ball into play from the sideline. Dacians Academy's Siluna Flores quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 88th minute Iwo Tamulewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Germany's Willy Stieler got a free kick in the 89th minute. Siluna Flores's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Siluna Flores helped the player get up and apologised. Siluna Flores hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 95th match minute, Dacians Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sercan Özerkin to maneuver through the defense. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
