Theo Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Λstral Villains FC's Jefferson de Amaral got a free kick in the 19th minute. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Theo Machado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yves Dervaux in the 53rd minute. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. 95 minutes into the match, Λstral Villains FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Theo Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Belgium players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
