Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rein Visscher made the kick off which started today's match. Rein Visscher might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnout Reekers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rein Visscher ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 9th minute of play forced Fighting Burning Hearts's goalkeeper Christian Crisantemo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rein Visscher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Crisantemo. Christian Crisantemo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Rein Visscher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gust Ennemans made in the 27th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gustaaf Groeneveldt immediately put the ball in play. 29 minutes into the game, Fighting Burning Hearts's Rein Visscher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Lars Meesters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Christian Crisantemo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Demetrio Giacchetti might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnout Reekers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Demetrio Giacchetti ran back to his position shaking his head. Christian Crisantemo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 36th minute of play. Christian Crisantemo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 37th minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Egbert Nijveldt heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 46th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gust Ennemans to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. Christian Crisantemo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. A collision led to Fighting Burning Hearts getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Filippo Tassotti hit a great ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rein Visscher in the 63rd minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Fighting Burning Hearts's goalkeeper Christian Crisantemo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. When Rein Visscher came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Fighting Burning Hearts fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rein Visscher couldn't finish the play. Christian Crisantemo made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Christian Crisantemo firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Rein Visscher kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. Christian Crisantemo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars Meesters's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Rein Visscher kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Fighting Burning Hearts were victorious despite being under pressure from Netherlands for much of the match.
