Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Svante Clementsson went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 31st minute Svante Clementsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Doctors of Ophtalmology's Göran Brun got a free kick in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 37th minute of play forced Doctors of Ophtalmology's goalkeeper Hannes Blomqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hannes Blomqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Tommy Kahn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. Frank Sachs who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Hannes Blomqvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Svante Clementsson scored 2-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svante Clementsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Janik Vogt hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Albin Holweck might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hannes Blomqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albin Holweck ran back to his position shaking his head. The throw-in from Linus Schwerner in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Doctors of Ophtalmology's Ronald Araújo. Linus Schwerner's late challenge caught a Doctors of Ophtalmology's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Linus Schwerner helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Linus Schwerner to maneuver through the defense. Per Forsberg struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Doctors of Ophtalmology. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svante Clementsson in the 94th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Doctors of Ophtalmology.
