Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frederico Barros started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Italy booed when Mariolo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witold Pietras didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Mariolo's Lartaun Carrandi got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Eufrasio Vall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 4th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frederico Barros in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. After some careless play in the Mariolo defense, Zaccheo Andolina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eufrasio Vall. The Mariolo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eufrasio Vall should have stopped the shot. 11 minutes into the match, Frederico Barros dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Flavio Vittori, 1-1. After 15 played minutes Mariolo got a freekick which was hit by Witold Pietras. 19 minutes into the game, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eufrasio Vall made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Eufrasio Vall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Frederico Barros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mariolo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 29th minute of play forced Mariolo's goalkeeper Eufrasio Vall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Mariolo's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Eufrasio Vall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zaccheo Andolina to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Barros in the 53rd minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Mariolo's goal looked a bit too open when Sigfrido Auletta came free, but Eufrasio Vall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eufrasio Vall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 58th minute. In the 59thth minute of the game Zaccheo Andolina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mariolo's Eufrasio Vall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute, Frederico Barros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgar Iordănescu's late challenge caught a Italy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mariolo's Eufrasio Vall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 75th minute of play. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frederico Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. Frederico Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Flavio Vittori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Many of Italy's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Italy may have spent more time on the ball, but Mariolo were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
