Carol Stinga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredric Hybbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute Iwan Kasiewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carol Stinga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alaaddin Solskjær showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasile Ciumak, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Romania's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adam Olaru in the 23rd minute. The corner led Romania's Adam Olaru to fire away a dangerous shot which Alaaddin Solskjær despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Yin Yun Fan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Carol Stinga made a huge save. Romania's Carol Stinga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Romania from getting a goal against them. Alaaddin Solskjær stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adam Olaru's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredric Hybbert in the 35th minute of play forced Romania's goalkeeper Carol Stinga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alaaddin Solskjær made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Olaru in the 36th minute of play. Iwan Kasiewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Carol Stinga made a huge save. Fredric Hybbert struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Carol Stinga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Kurdistan. After a rather tough play, Romania's Costica Vladimiri got a free kick in the 45th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Roni Ronaldinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kurdistan's supporters rose to their feet, but Roni Ronaldinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carol Stinga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

If Yin Yun Fan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Romania's zone, Lars Sundström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carol Stinga came out of the goal and Lars Sundström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute of the match, Anton Stinga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alaaddin Solskjær saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 74 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's Lars Sundström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carol Stinga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC Kurdistan's Keefer Carragher got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute Fredric Hybbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carol Stinga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alaaddin Solskjær was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 94 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Stinga came free, but Alaaddin Solskjær reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
