Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bobby Vanooteghem. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. After 12 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Janik Vogt. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yu Feng Sang got free with Tommy Kahn in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Yu Feng Sang capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yu Feng Sang really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After 17 minutes Dare to dream again's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frank Sachs who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Germany's corner Frank Sachs fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bobby Vanooteghem quite easily take care of the ball. In the 21st minute, Eddy Nelleboedske hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bobby Vanooteghem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. The audience was convinced that Frank Sachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bobby Vanooteghem was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dare to dream again reached it. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Bobby Vanooteghem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Feng Sang in the 72nd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute, Yu Feng Sang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Dare to dream again's Bobby Vanooteghem got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vernon Wilkinson in the 88th minute of play. Albin Holweck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 93 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Ulrich Stein. Dare to dream again's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
