Ivan Baleren kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Lars Meesters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Cementerio Club's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Austen Farrow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Austen Farrow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 minutes Cementerio Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cementerio Club's goalkeeper Austen Farrow, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 30th minute of play forced Cementerio Club's goalkeeper Austen Farrow to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Cementerio Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Netherlands's Lars Meesters to fire away a dangerous shot which Austen Farrow despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Benedicto Gilabert's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benedicto Gilabert helped the player get up and apologised. Benedicto Gilabert kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Austen Farrow saved Cementerio Club from getting behind. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. If Fulgencio Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Cementerio Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Gilabert didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wlodzimierz Penczkowski in the 65th minute of the match. Austen Farrow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 67th minute of the match. Netherlands's Lars Meesters got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Austen Farrow made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Austen Farrow made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 83rd minute. Cementerio Club's Santo Gonzo was substituted for Wlodzimierz Penczkowski. Austen Farrow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 90th minute of the match.
