Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vítor Simão in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geovanni Vaz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vítor Simão to make the kick off. Angelo Mangueira charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Angelo Mangueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Isaltino Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafinha Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The supporters of EoDu Uai Sôccer booed when S S Palestra Italia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caio Luz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of S S Palestra Italia booed when EoDu Uai Sôccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nico Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded S S Palestra Italia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than EoDu Uai Sôccer.
