He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AS Pikachuzim reached it. In the 13th minute Dadá Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Monteiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodolfo Pinheiro went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 24th match minute, Montesclarense E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, AS Pikachuzim's Lucas Reis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 32nd match minute, AS Pikachuzim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dadá Torres to maneuver through the defense. After 34 minutes of play, AS Pikachuzim's Vito Batista made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of AS Pikachuzim booed when Montesclarense E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caco Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute, AS Pikachuzim's Richard Madureira seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Richard Madureira the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AS Pikachuzim protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Richard Madureira had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Montesclarense E.C. booed when AS Pikachuzim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. AS Pikachuzim's Mauro Albuquerque was substituted for Dadá Torres. The Montesclarense E.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AS Pikachuzim were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baltazar Dantas made a kick off. Vito Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Monteiro having to interfere. After 55 played minutes AS Pikachuzim got a freekick which was hit by Victor da Fonseca. The crowd rose to their feet as AS Pikachuzim's Rodolfo Pinheiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luiz Monteiro. That made the score 0-3 after 61 minutes of play. 64 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Pinheiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luiz Monteiro. Rodolfo Pinheiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. If Vito Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Montesclarense E.C.'s Luiz Monteiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Montesclarense E.C. from getting a goal against them. Rodolfo Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Monteiro having to interfere. Rodolfo Pinheiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Luiz Monteiro made a huge save. Rodolfo Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Luiz Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vito Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Pinheiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 98thth minute tested the skills of Luiz Monteiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched AS Pikachuzim eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
