Milanis E.C.'s Fernandão Maia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Negri in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th match minute, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Chaves to maneuver through the defense. Túlio Chaves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Vinícius Macedo made a huge save. Belmiro Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 20th match minute, Milanis E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Eduardo Custódio to maneuver through the defense. Natã Salles hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Anselmo Negri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandão Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmo Negri scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernandão Maia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fernandão Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Chaves in the 40th minute of play. After 41 minutes of play, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Luiz Paulo Fantini made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernandão Maia was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 44 minutes, Vicente Chaves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cruzeiro Esporte Clube and the Milanis E.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Milanis E.C. booed when Cruzeiro Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Luiz Paulo Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 47th minute, Anselmo Negri made a precise shot to the right of Fernandão Maia. Milanis E.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anselmo Negri to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Anselmo Negri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Fernandão Maia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 57 minutes into the match, Milanis E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Negri came free, but Fernandão Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 minutes of play, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Luiz Paulo Fantini made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernandão Maia was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 62nd minute, Anselmo Negri reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fernandão Maia. The goal made the score 0-8. 65 minutes into the game, Adelino Simão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Milanis E.C. the free kick. Adelino Simão kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Natã Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Milanis E.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Natã Salles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinícius Macedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute, Túlio Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Anselmo Negri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cruzeiro Esporte Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. The crowd rose to their feet as Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Anselmo Negri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fernandão Maia. That made the score 0-10 after 83 minutes of play. 89 minutes into the match, Luiz Paulo Fantini dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fernandão Maia, 0-11. In the 95th match minute, Cruzeiro Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Simão to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute, Natã Salles sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's Vinícius Macedo didn't even have to move.
