Baltazar Dantas started the match with the kick off. 11 minutes into the match, Montesclarense E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Simão came free, but Luiz Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute EoDu Uai Sôccer were awarded a corner. Vítor Simão went to the cornerflag to take it. Bebeto Ribeiro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The supporters of Montesclarense E.C. booed when EoDu Uai Sôccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th match minute, EoDu Uai Sôccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Guimarães to maneuver through the defense. Baltazar Dantas might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaltino Vargas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baltazar Dantas ran back to his position shaking his head. Belmiro Mendes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vítor Simão hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. When EoDu Uai Sôccer's Vítor Simão in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montesclarense E.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Vítor Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Luiz Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Belmiro Mendes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Monteiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Lucas Dionísio charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Dionísio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 48th minute, Lucas Dionísio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vítor Simão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vítor Simão in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Monteiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Caco Rossi charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caco Rossi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the last second Luiz Monteiro throw himself and got hold of the ball when Vítor Simão in the 60thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Vítor Simão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Luiz Monteiro made a huge save. Belmiro Mendes charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Belmiro Mendes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Belmiro Mendes hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. A collision led to EoDu Uai Sôccer getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Angelo Mangueira hit a great ball. Baltazar Dantas missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 68 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Isaltino Vargas right hand side. Patrick Valle took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luiz Monteiro. Montesclarense E.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 74th minute, EoDu Uai Sôccer's Belmiro Mendes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Montesclarense E.C. were furious when Lucas Dionísio was red carded, 78 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 77th minute, one of Montesclarense E.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Montesclarense E.C.. In the 79th minute there was a penalty for EoDu Uai Sôccer. Vítor Simão stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Luiz Monteiro. 1-3. 84 minutes into the game, one of Montesclarense E.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Luiz Monteiro went to the wrong direction when Vítor Simão was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Belmiro Mendes hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match.
