But to his dismay, Hernani Hermes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After the first half Reko-Recko 03™ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 54 minutes of play Reko-Recko 03™'s Samuel Nogueira was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of S S Palestra Italia booed when Reko-Recko 03™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 88th minute, Hernani Hermes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hernani Hermes in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Geovanni Vaz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 95th minute, Hernani Hermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
