After 2 minutes, Patrick Alcântara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EoDu Uai Sôccer and the Sporting Uai MzC™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee ignored Sporting Uai MzC™'s protests and gave Manoel Alves a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Sporting Uai MzC™:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of EoDu Uai Sôccer:s goal. Belmiro Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Leal having to interfere. The supporters of Sporting Uai MzC™ booed when EoDu Uai Sôccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Doriva Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Álvaro Sá scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaltino Vargas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Doriva Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, EoDu Uai Sôccer's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Prestes came free, but Isaltino Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Paulo Camargo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 42 played minutes EoDu Uai Sôccer got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Guimarães. Álvaro Sá scored 0-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaltino Vargas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Sporting Uai MzC™ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodoro Prestes made a kick off. 59 minutes into the game, Waldemar Catarinense recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Isaltino Vargas. Waldemar Catarinense showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Oscar Goiano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Isaltino Vargas made a huge save. EoDu Uai Sôccer's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Teodoro Prestes scored to the left of an out of position Isaltino Vargas, making the score, 0-4. A collision led to EoDu Uai Sôccer getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Angelo Mangueira hit a great ball. If Nico Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Orlando Guimarães fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EoDu Uai Sôccer's protests and gave Orlando Guimarães a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th match minute, EoDu Uai Sôccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Guimarães to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Sporting Uai MzC™ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than EoDu Uai Sôccer throughout the match.
