Chico Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luiz Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Reko-Recko 03™'s Chico Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maicon Toscano in the 4th minute of play. Chico Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luiz Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the game, Cléberson Medeiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reko-Recko 03™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PEÇONHENTO FC MG the free kick. PEÇONHENTO FC MG made a substitution. Dida Vale replaced Pedro Luiz Marinho. 7 minutes into the game, one of Reko-Recko 03™:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for PEÇONHENTO FC MG. Noel Rosado stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Chico Dracena. 0-1. After 11 played minutes PEÇONHENTO FC MG got a freekick which was hit by Kader Picar. Chico Dracena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Noel Rosado's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Chico Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfredo de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Chico Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maicon Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chico Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dida Vale in the 20th minute of play. Zé Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Maicon Toscano didn't quite understand what happened when in the 25 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. During the 26th minute of the match Cléberson Medeiros completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cléberson Medeiros a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 26 played minutes Reko-Recko 03™ got a freekick which was hit by Cléberson Medeiros. In the 28th minute, Erivaldo Esteves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, PEÇONHENTO FC MG's Maicon Toscano broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. PEÇONHENTO FC MG's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maicon Toscano in the 33rd minute. Elói Nogueira made a great header on PEÇONHENTO FC MG's corner, it was just that Reko-Recko 03™'s Chico Dracena managed to reach the ball for a save. 40 minutes into the match, Reko-Recko 03™'s goal looked a bit too open when Maicon Toscano came free, but Chico Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Manfredo de Sena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chico Dracena. Reko-Recko 03™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manfredo de Sena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dida Vale was the one to do the kick off. 65 minutes into the match, Maicon Toscano notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Reko-Recko 03™'s Chico Dracena. Chico Dracena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chico Dracena made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Elói Nogueira sent off a good shot on target. Maicon Toscano took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chico Dracena. Chico Dracena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 75 minutes into the match, Reko-Recko 03™'s goal looked a bit too open when Maicon Toscano came free, but Chico Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reko-Recko 03™'s Chico Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Rosado in the 93rd minute of play. PEÇONHENTO FC MG played a much better game than Reko-Recko 03™ and deserved their victory. The Reko-Recko 03™ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
