Bebeto Ribeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bebeto Ribeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 2 played minutes EoDu Uai Sôccer got a freekick which was hit by Bebeto Ribeiro. In the 4th minute, Frank Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dinei Guimarães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Isaltino Vargas threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jailson Batista, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 12th minute, Vítor Simão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Guilherme Garcia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Rick Cabezon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Isaltino Vargas made a huge save. In the 18th minute Vítor Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Guilherme Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 21st minute of the match Bebeto Ribeiro completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bebeto Ribeiro a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Isaltino Vargas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Rick Cabezon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Isaltino Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jailson Batista in the 28th minute of play. EoDu Uai Sôccer's Isaltino Vargas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save EoDu Uai Sôccer from getting a goal against them. A collision led to EoDu Uai Sôccer getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Nico Vidal hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, EoDu Uai Sôccer's goalkeeper Isaltino Vargas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rick Cabezon. Isaltino Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jailson Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Luiz Guilherme Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Simão in the 47th minute of play. The Barcellos Mineiro FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. EoDu Uai Sôccer were winning 0-1.

Luiz Guilherme Garcia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vítor Simão went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 55th minute Rick Cabezon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaltino Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Umberto Queiroz scored 1-2 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaltino Vargas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vítor Simão during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 73 minutes into the match, EoDu Uai Sôccer's goal looked a bit too open when Rick Cabezon came free, but Isaltino Vargas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Dinei Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaltino Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th match minute, EoDu Uai Sôccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Simão to maneuver through the defense. EoDu Uai Sôccer were furious when Edgard Vergílio was red carded, 79 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to EoDu Uai Sôccer getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Edgard Vergílio hit a great ball. In the 80th minute of the match Dinei Guimarães sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isaltino Vargas skillfully saved the ball. Isaltino Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jailson Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dinei Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino Vargas having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson Batista in the 88th minute of play forced EoDu Uai Sôccer's goalkeeper Isaltino Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. EoDu Uai Sôccer's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
