In the 4th minute, Waldemar Catarinense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oscar Goiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Waldemar Catarinense struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Chico Dracena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Uai MzC™. A collision led to Reko-Recko 03™ getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Deivid Donato hit a great ball. When Teodoro Prestes got free in front of the goal in the 13th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Chico Dracena was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Teodoro Prestes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chico Dracena was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 32 minutes into the match, Álvaro Sá dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Chico Dracena, 3-0. Reko-Recko 03™'s Chico Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Prestes in the 36th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Sporting Uai MzC™'s Teodoro Prestes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chico Dracena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Álvaro Sá recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Teodoro Prestes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chico Dracena was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roberto Mota to make the kick off. Roberto Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Basílio Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chico Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Prestes in the 58th minute of play. Luiz Paulo Camargo kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Chico Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Reko-Recko 03™'s Deivid Donato got a free kick in the 75th minute. Sporting Uai MzC™ were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Reko-Recko 03™'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luiz Paulo Camargo took the corner. Álvaro Sá was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Gernando Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Reko-Recko 03™'s Samuel Nogueira got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute of the match Luiz Paulo Camargo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chico Dracena skillfully saved the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sporting Uai MzC™ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Reko-Recko 03™ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
