The referee ignored Montesclarense E.C.'s protests and gave Elder Leite a yellow card for diving instead. 4 minutes into the game, one of Montesclarense E.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Montesclarense E.C.:s Elivélton Koehler showed great skill when he stopped Fernando Cunha:s penalty. When Dadá Pinheiro fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montesclarense E.C.'s protests and gave Dadá Pinheiro a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Montesclarense E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dadá Pinheiro. In the 16th minute, Jeremias Pinheiro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UPTEXTIL.COM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thiago Furtado got free with Elivélton Koehler in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baltazar Dantas's late challenge caught a UPTEXTIL.COM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of Montesclarense E.C. booed when UPTEXTIL.COM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thiago Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dadá Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Jarbas Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. UPTEXTIL.COM's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fernando Cunha in the 80th minute. A nice corner shot did that Fernando Cunha got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Elivélton Koehler quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 81st match minute, Montesclarense E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Dionísio to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, UPTEXTIL.COM's Fernando Cunha broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Jeremias Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Montesclarense E.C. booed when UPTEXTIL.COM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltazar Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Pinheiro in the 88th minute of play forced Montesclarense E.C.'s goalkeeper Elivélton Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Montesclarense E.C.'s Lucas Dionísio got a free kick in the 93rd minute. UPTEXTIL.COM's Fernando Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 96 played minutes Montesclarense E.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dadá Pinheiro. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. UPTEXTIL.COM had played much better football throughout.
