Matías Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Pinheiro in the 6th minute of the match. Noel Rosado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laerte Toscano's late challenge caught a PEÇONHENTO FC MG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laerte Toscano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th minute, Laerte Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of PEÇONHENTO FC MG booed when AS Pikachuzim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. AS Pikachuzim's Laerte Toscano got his second yellow card of the match in the 16th minute. The referee ordered Laerte Toscano off the ground. After 16 played minutes AS Pikachuzim got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Toscano. Laerte Toscano hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Dida Vales short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Pedro Luiz Matorin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Pedro Luiz Matorin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Noel Rosado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 26 minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Pinheiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AS Pikachuzim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PEÇONHENTO FC MG the free kick. Rodolfo Pinheiro kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. AS Pikachuzim were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after PEÇONHENTO FC MG's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wilton Carneiro took the corner. The corner ended in Wilton Carneiro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but PEÇONHENTO FC MG's Matías Valle did a great save. Pedro Luiz Matorin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Luiz Marinho in the 36th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denílson Arantes in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matías Valle saved PEÇONHENTO FC MG from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Pinheiro in the 41st minute of play forced PEÇONHENTO FC MG's goalkeeper Matías Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 played minutes AS Pikachuzim got a freekick which was hit by Luizão Fontes. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodolfo Pinheiro made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Denílson Arantes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Matías Valle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Denílson Arantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Matías Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matías Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilton Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. PEÇONHENTO FC MG's Matías Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denílson Arantes in the 61st minute of play. Tadeu de Medeiros hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. AS Pikachuzim's Wilton Carneiro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 67th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Matías Valle but with some difficulty. Matías Valle came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by AS Pikachuzim's Rodolfo Pinheiro. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Pinheiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson Arantes in the 77th minute of play forced PEÇONHENTO FC MG's goalkeeper Matías Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PEÇONHENTO FC MG's Matías Valle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save PEÇONHENTO FC MG from getting a goal against them. PEÇONHENTO FC MG's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Rodolfo Pinheiro scored to the left of an out of position Matías Valle, making the score, 1-4. 90 minutes into the match, PEÇONHENTO FC MG's goalkeeper Matías Valle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo Pinheiro. 94 minutes into the match, Noel Rosado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Luiz Matorin. AS Pikachuzim's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Noel Rosado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4.
