After a defensive mix-up in S S Palestra Italia's zone, Fellipe Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovanni Vaz came out of the goal and Fellipe Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 12 minutes into the match, S S Palestra Italia's goalkeeper Geovanni Vaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Glauco Severo. If Glauco Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rômulo Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geovanni Vaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fellipe Pereira in the 20th minute. S S Palestra Italia's Geovanni Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glauco Severo in the 29th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Glauco Severo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geovanni Vaz. After 93 played minutes, Goth Cloudy Experience's Jacinto Marinho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Geovanni Vaz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Goth Cloudy Experience reached it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Goth Cloudy Experience fans cheered their team off the field, for while S S Palestra Italia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
