The corner went over the outstretched arms of Reko-Recko 03™'s goalie and right to Denílson Arantes. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Reko-Recko 03™'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 10 minutes into the match, Reko-Recko 03™'s goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Pinheiro came free, but André Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Giuseppe de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. André Abraão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Wilton Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. André Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denílson Arantes charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Denílson Arantes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wiliam Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Reko-Recko 03™'s goal looked a bit too open when Wilton Carneiro came free, but André Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 39 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Pinheiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of André Abraão. Reko-Recko 03™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodolfo Pinheiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. André Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarbas Pombal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodolfo Pinheiro to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Reko-Recko 03™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton do Valle to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Wilton Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. AS Pikachuzim's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilton Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Abraão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dadá Torres in the 58th managed to get into a good position. André Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denílson Arantes in the 65th minute of the match. After 67 minutes Reko-Recko 03™'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wilton Carneiro who took care of the corner kick. Gildo da Fonseca made a great header on AS Pikachuzim's corner, it was just that Reko-Recko 03™'s André Abraão managed to reach the ball for a save. 69 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Pinheiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of André Abraão.
