With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waka Mineiro in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Geovanni Vaz saved S S Palestra Italia from getting behind. Amauri Simões's late challenge caught a Barcellos Mineiro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geovanni Vaz came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Barcellos Mineiro FC's Waka Mineiro. But to his dismay, Waka Mineiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. The S S Palestra Italia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Barcellos Mineiro FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
