The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Serafim Hermes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Charles Müller was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Flavinho Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 16 minutes into the match, S S Palestra Italia's goal looked a bit too open when Özen Günsel came free, but Jarbas Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inácio Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Charles Müller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, Sporting Uai MzC™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alisson De Gasperi to maneuver through the defense. Charles Müller stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Roberto Moura's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Valeh Cerda got a throw-in 24 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Rüknettin Aysan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özen Günsel in the 25th minute of play forced S S Palestra Italia's goalkeeper Jarbas Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. S S Palestra Italia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rony Tasso in the 30th minute. S S Palestra Italia's Rony Tasso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Charles Müller in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Özen Günsel kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Sporting Uai MzC™'s goalkeeper Charles Müller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inácio Figueiredo. Charles Müller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Roberto Moura in the 36th minute of the match. Jarbas Guedes came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Uai MzC™'s Özen Günsel. But to his dismay, Özen Günsel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Jarbas Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özen Günsel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 played minutes Sporting Uai MzC™ got a freekick which was hit by Alisson De Gasperi. Charles Müller made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inácio Figueiredo in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 55th minute, Inácio Figueiredo made a precise shot to the right of Charles Müller. Sporting Uai MzC™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Sporting Uai MzC™'s Flavinho Cabral managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gilvan Seco in the 58 minute of the game. The supporters of Sporting Uai MzC™ booed when S S Palestra Italia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rony Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Özen Günsel took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jarbas Guedes. Jarbas Guedes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 71 minutes into the match, S S Palestra Italia's goal looked a bit too open when Özen Günsel came free, but Jarbas Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Uai MzC™'s zone, Inácio Figueiredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles Müller came out of the goal and Inácio Figueiredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Özen Günsel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Jarbas Guedes made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inácio Figueiredo in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charles Müller prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute of the match Sporting Uai MzC™ got a corner. S S Palestra Italia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oséas Silva ran over to the corner to take the kick. 86 minutes into the match, S S Palestra Italia's goal looked a bit too open when Özen Günsel came free, but Jarbas Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özen Günsel in the 88th minute of play forced S S Palestra Italia's goalkeeper Jarbas Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Sporting Uai MzC™ getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Jeremias Domenec hit a great ball. Rony Tasso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Charles Müller. Sporting Uai MzC™'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Charles Müller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 96th match minute, S S Palestra Italia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Quexal to maneuver through the defense. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
