The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgardo Silva got free with Fernandão Maia in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Milanis E.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 6th minute, when Edgardo Silva scored to the left of an out of position Fernandão Maia, making the score, 1-0. Oscar Nordmark could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Fernandão Maia made a huge save. Edgardo Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandão Maia having to interfere. Fernandão Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th match minute, Milanis E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto Bueno to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Tony Pacheco made a precise shot to the right of Fernandão Maia. Milanis E.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Jörgen Frohm hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Fernandão Maia was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Tony Pacheco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tony Pacheco really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Fernandão Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Milanis E.C.'s Kristen Lijsens seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kristen Lijsens the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Milanis E.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kristen Lijsens had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Milanis E.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of New England Minas:s goal. When the match had been going on for 32 minutes, New England Minas's Edgardo Silva got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Fernandão Maia. With a little luck, Milanis E.C.'s Fernandão Maia got control of the ball when Edgardo Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernandão Maia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Pacheco in the 38th minute of play. Edgardo Silva who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Fernandão Maia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fernandão Maia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tony Pacheco in the 40th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Tony Pacheco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fernandão Maia. That made the score 5-0 in the 41 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Milanis E.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alperen Öksüz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. 54 minutes into the match, Milanis E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Silva came free, but Fernandão Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Pacheco in the 58th minute of play forced Milanis E.C.'s goalkeeper Fernandão Maia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernandão Maia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alperen Öksüz, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Fernandão Maia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Glen Conklin made a precise shot to the right of Fernandão Maia. Milanis E.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. New England Minas's Tio Lio was substituted for Edgardo Silva. New England Minas's Emmitt Benson was substituted for Alperen Öksüz. 76 minutes into the match, Tio Lio notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Milanis E.C.'s Fernandão Maia. Fernandão Maia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th minute of the match Jörgen Frohm sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernandão Maia skillfully saved the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Milanis E.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tio Lio came free, but Fernandão Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremy Nicholas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laurgain Ruiz in the 93rd minute. Fernandão Maia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tony Pacheco in the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the New England Minas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
