Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dale Dolar started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, S S Palestra Italia's Jarbas Guedes got control of the ball when Dale Dolar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 2nd minute, Dale Dolar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jarbas Guedes. The goal made the score 1-0. After 5 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Boyd Kaufman. 11 minutes into the match, S S Palestra Italia's goal looked a bit too open when Celsinho Corrêa came free, but Jarbas Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Dale Dolar took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Jarbas Guedes to make any attempt to save it. S S Palestra Italia's Jarbas Guedes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save S S Palestra Italia from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dale Dolar got free with Jarbas Guedes in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rony Tasso came free, but Vânderson Saa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vânderson Saa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rony Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Dale Dolar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barcellos Mineiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dale Dolar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarbas Guedes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jarbas Guedes was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Celsinho Corrêa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Celsinho Corrêa really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind S S Palestra Italia's goalkeeper Jarbas Guedes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Vânderson Saa got control of the ball when Inácio Figueiredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robinho Castro's late challenge caught a Barcellos Mineiro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robinho Castro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, Robinho Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Barcellos Mineiro FC booed when S S Palestra Italia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Bernal didn't get a good kick on the ball. A throw-in in the 61st minute of the game was made by Serafim Hermes with Josué de Senna as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 64 minutes into the match, Dale Dolar notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of S S Palestra Italia's Jarbas Guedes. Jarbas Guedes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Robinho Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, S S Palestra Italia's Robinho Castro got a free kick in the 70th minute. Dale Dolar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarbas Guedes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Jarbas Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clóvis Vieira in the 72nd minute of the match. Jarbas Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dale Dolar in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, S S Palestra Italia's Inácio Figueiredo got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th match minute, S S Palestra Italia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inácio Figueiredo to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Dale Dolar sped through S S Palestra Italia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jarbas Guedes. In the 83rd match minute, S S Palestra Italia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josué de Senna to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Barcellos Mineiro FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Tang Yang Le hit a great ball. Dale Dolar might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jarbas Guedes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dale Dolar ran back to his position shaking his head. Jarbas Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dale Dolar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Celsinho Corrêa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jarbas Guedes. S S Palestra Italia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celsinho Corrêa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. When the referee ended the match the Barcellos Mineiro FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
