They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Enrique Leite to strike the kick off in the second half. Paulão Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. In the 64th minute Paulão Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Müller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sporting Uai MzC™'s Charles Müller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulão Medeiros in the 65th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Enrique Leite's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgard de Almeida was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. If Mazinho Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 79th match minute, Montesclarense E.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Koehler to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Sporting Uai MzC™'s Enrique Leite slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edgard de Almeida. That made the score 2-3 after 91 minutes of play.
