The supporters of Cruzeiro Esporte Clube booed when PEÇONHENTO FC MG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Oswaldo Maranhense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded PEÇONHENTO FC MG left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cruzeiro Esporte Clube.
