In the 6th minute Gerardo Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hao Feng Yu got free with Jeremy Nicholas in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Silva in the 8th minute of play forced Reko-Recko 03™'s goalkeeper Angelino Nueva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Edgardo Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Svali Bollason who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Jeremy Nicholas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hao Feng Yu, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Jeremy Nicholas stood somewhat misplaced when Svali Bollason came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 16 minute. The audience was convinced that Edgardo Silva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelino Nueva was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After 22 minutes New England Minas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gerardo Arce who took care of the corner kick. 25 minutes into the match, Gerardo Arce had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremy Nicholas. New England Minas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerardo Arce was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. A collision led to Reko-Recko 03™ getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Leandro de Almeida hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Tony Pacheco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Nueva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelino Nueva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alperen Öksüz in the 32nd minute of the match. After 34 minutes Reko-Recko 03™'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Glen Conklin who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Glen Conklin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Reko-Recko 03™'s Angelino Nueva did a great save. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svali Bollason, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 minutes Reko-Recko 03™'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Glen Conklin who took care of the corner kick. In the 41st minute Edgardo Silva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Nueva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Edgardo Silva notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Reko-Recko 03™'s Angelino Nueva. Angelino Nueva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Conny Tingberg during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgardo Silva made a kick off. Angelino Nueva made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Alperen Öksüz sent off a good shot on target. Edgardo Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Nueva having to interfere. Edgardo Silva came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Angelino Nueva could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, New England Minas's Alperen Öksüz got a free kick in the 61st minute. New England Minas's Emmitt Benson was substituted for Alperen Öksüz. Reko-Recko 03™'s Xande Cabezudo was substituted for Svali Bollason. A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Alperen Öksüz hit a great ball. In the 66th minute Xande Cabezudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Hao Feng Yu came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Tony Pacheco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelino Nueva was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Reko-Recko 03™ made a substitution. Glauco Breckenfeld replaced Gerardo Arce. Reko-Recko 03™'s Angelino Nueva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Reko-Recko 03™ from getting a goal against them. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xande Cabezudo in the 81st minute of play. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xande Cabezudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelino Nueva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tio Lio in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tio Lio in the 91st minute of play forced Reko-Recko 03™'s goalkeeper Angelino Nueva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, New England Minas's Tony Pacheco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. In the 95th minute Hao Feng Yu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. New England Minas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
