Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toto Škarpa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Toto Škarpa in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Godfredo George took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. A collision led to Patricio Rey Futbol Club getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ferdinand Agachi hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Pacifico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. After 95 minutes Patricio Rey Futbol Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Netherlands were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
