Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Dave Panno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mamutes EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dave Panno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Panno in the 80th minute of play. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valério Meireles in the 82nd minute of play. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Panno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Mamutes EC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Magno Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Netherlands. Arnout Reekers had in the 91stth minute some difficulties stopping Dave Panno's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Panno in the 96th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gijsbert ter Kruimer to maneuver through the defense. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Mamutes EC were victorious despite being under pressure from Netherlands for much of the match.
