Paulinho Dybala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Piotr Tworek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. With a little luck, La Maquina Retorna 【LBF】's Ezequiel Centurión got control of the ball when Marek Hamšík tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st minute, one of FC Iecēni:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Iecēni. Piotr Tworek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulinho Dybala in the 28th minute of play. Ezequiel Centurión showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktors Behmans, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the game, Paulinho Dybala cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Piotr Tworek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 36th minute Paulinho Dybala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piotr Tworek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulinho Dybala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Piotr Tworek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulinho Dybala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Iecēni's goalkeeper Piotr Tworek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. La Maquina Retorna 【LBF】's Ezequiel Centurión proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save La Maquina Retorna 【LBF】 from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute, Leon Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, La Maquina Retorna 【LBF】's goal looked a bit too open when Uvis Svitiņš came free, but Ezequiel Centurión reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulinho Dybala to make the kick off. Ezequiel Centurión showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktors Behmans in the 57th minute of the match. Uvis Svitiņš scored 1-4 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ezequiel Centurión, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Iecēni's goalkeeper Piotr Tworek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 63rd minute Viktors Behmans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Centurión saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viesturs Pilāns in the 64th minute of play forced La Maquina Retorna 【LBF】's goalkeeper Ezequiel Centurión to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as La Maquina Retorna 【LBF】's Paulinho Dybala slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Piotr Tworek. That made the score 1-5 after 66 minutes of play. Piotr Tworek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulinho Dybala's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Piotr Tworek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulinho Dybala went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Pepe Sand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Piotr Tworek having to interfere. Piotr Tworek came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by La Maquina Retorna 【LBF】's Pepe Sand. But to his dismay, Pepe Sand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. Piotr Tworek was a little too slow when Pepe Sand got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 1-8.
