When the match had been going on for 21 minutes, Leão STAND BY FSCMZ's Eusébio Rezende got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alexander Higgins. Eusébio Rezende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Higgins having to interfere. Alexander Higgins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeferson Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The supporters of Scotland booed when Leão STAND BY FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eusébio Rezendes short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Alexander Higgins to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Leão STAND BY FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Alexander Higgins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeferson Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. When Eusébio Rezende came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Leão STAND BY FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet.
