The audience was convinced that Alfredo Stefano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilson Amorim was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 15th minute, Alfredo Stefano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Wincent Dropinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 28th minute of play forced Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper Wincent Dropinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
